Becoming a member

Membership in Friends Historical Association is open to all who are interested in Quaker heritage. One need not be affiliated with a Friends Meeting.

Our Annual Meeting is in the Fall (typically virtual), with a pilgrimage in the Spring to an area associated with the history of Quakerism (typically in person, usually in the Philadelphia area). Included with your membership is a subscription to Quaker History, which is published semi-annually. You also will gain access to our online archives of Quaker History, dating back to 2020.

Friends Historical Association is international in membership. We offer annual and lifetime memberships. We would love for you to join us.

Note: Beginning in 2024, FHA is switching to electronic-first delivery for Quaker History. Electronic delivery is more environmentally sustainable, provides faster access, and includes color images. If you prefer receiving paper copies, that option will remain available at certain membership categories.
